Went for Sunday pizza buffet, then have amazing pies!! Great salad bar, chicken strips, spaghetti and more... Looking forward to returning again.. Must try Keep up the great job and see ya soon

We were hoping for a better experience, being that we were in a state where a famous style of pizza is made. We stopped here while driving through Illinois. They don't do deep dish style pizza, but they offered to do the thick crust style. My son's pizza was still doughy in the center, so he couldn't keep eating his. Mine was just cheese, but it had a funky smell. I had to throw the leftovers out, because the pizza just smelled like wet cardboard. Yeah, they were in little pizza boxes, but the box flavor/smell absorbed into the pizza or something. We were just doing a very quick pass through the area on our way to NC, so we couldn't really go back and have them remake them. It was really disappointing.

I really enjoyed the food here. I had the Fajita Pizza, Potato Pizza and Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich. All of it cost 40 Dollars. First the Fajita Pizza it was good a little bland the dough was nice and soft. 7/10. 2nd the Potato Pizza was 🔥 very delicious, just needs more bacon. 8/10. Last the CBR sandwich was amazing, flavorful, nice, and soft, and It was only 8 dollars. 9/10. Food Game 8.5/10. Portion Game 8/10. Price Game 8.5/10. Overall Herolds Pizza Oven 8.5/10. I will come back again forsure. Shout out to the cook!!

This is our first time eating here and the ONLY reason it received a 4/5 is because of the taco pizza sauce. I think I had higher standards because of happy joes or even Casey’s with their sauce and how it tastes. The sauce here tasted like sloppy Joe and we just weren’t fans at all. If we would have known we would have ordered a different pizza and the review would’ve been 5/5. BUT we lovedddd the crust. We also got the breadsticks and ravioli and they were delicious! The ravioli were a little overcooked and burnt on the bottom but the flavor was amazing. Our waitress was new and only working 3 days but she did AMAZING. She was soooo kind! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to try the buffet. $12.99 with drink included is a steal. The workers greeted us as we entered the building and even as we left to ensure we had a good night. I will update once we eat there again with buffet!

We had a small group and got a few different choices. Loved the flavors. We tried both the thicker crust and the thin crust. Both good. Saw a cauliflower crust option too. I can not say enough good things about the place. I also did the salad bar and it was fresh.
